For me, the bulge, I assume for more equipment, along with the stabilizers detract for me. The Comet had a smooth nose line, even if the wings seemed more like they where off a Piper Cub, then a modern jet design

haha yheer i have to say ive been luck enougth to see both fly, and theres just a sence of power about the nimrod that attracts me, to be fiar the comet was one of the more stunning aircraft ive ever seen, up there with concord on the civi front

its made even more strange as when i was younger i saw the last ever DH Comet display at Fairford, theres somthing poetic about that.

dose it taxi? ive never been to brunty so i only know the obviouse planes they have (the ones that appear in flypast and the like)
